Around The Table

A Nine-Month In-Person Experience for Christian Women

Around the Table

Faith, Responsibility & the Art of Leading from Within

You carry a lot.

Perhaps you lead a company, a team, a practice, a family, a ministry, or a community. Perhaps leadership isn’t even in your title, but people depend on you, look to you, and trust you with things that matter.

Around the Table

You are capable. Thoughtful. Faithful. You know how to get things done.

There are very few places where you can be completely honest about what that asks of you.

The expectations. The decisions. The people who depend on you. The standards you hold for yourself. The tension between what you can carry and what you are actually called to carry.

Around the Table is a nine-month, in-person experience for Christian women who carry significant responsibility and want to lead and live with greater clarity, capacity, connection, and alignment.

Not by learning to carry more.
By becoming more discerning
about how you carry what matters.
The Conversations We’re Not Having

There are conversations we aren’t having in most leadership spaces.

How do we distinguish between what God has entrusted to us and what we’ve simply become accustomed to carrying?
How do our bodies respond to years of expectation, achievement, caregiving, decision-making, and responsibility?
What happens when our competence becomes the reason everyone, including ourselves, expects us to keep doing more?
What does the burden of responsibility actually cost - in your health, relationships, presence and capacity?
What does it mean to pursue meaningful work while remaining deeply connected to ourselves, the people we love, and our faith?
And what might change if we had a room full of extraordinary women with whom we could explore those questions honestly?
That is the room being created for you.
Come Around the Table

Three hours. Once a month. Nine months.

Each gathering will be built around a meaningful area of life and leadership, giving us enough structure to go somewhere important while leaving enough room for the needs and wisdom of the women actually sitting at the table.

These won’t be lectures. And this isn’t a networking group, Bible study, or traditional leadership program.

Some months, I will guide our work together. Other months, carefully chosen guest speakers will bring expertise and perspectives that deepen our conversation.

Throughout the experience, we will integrate coaching, reflection, Christian faith, meaningful conversation, and somatic practices that help us pay attention not only to what we think, but to what our bodies may already be telling us.

A Different Kind of Leadership Conversation
Because responsibility isn’t only something you manage.
Responsibility has an impact.

What we carry affects our bodies, our relationships, our decisions, our presence, and the capacity we have available for the things that matter most.

Our Nine Months Together

An intentional progression, with room to breathe.

Notice → Tend → Examine → Relate → Influence → Steward → Discern → Receive → Integrate

But this isn’t a rigid curriculum. These are spacious conversations, territories we can return to again and again because the questions change as we change.

Month One

Where Am I Now?

We begin with an honest look at the whole of your life. What is thriving? What is depleted? What needs your attention? Where are you living intentionally, and where have you simply become accustomed to functioning?

You’ll begin to identify the area of your own life and leadership that may be asking for particular attention during our nine months together. And as a group, we will make agreements that build trust and open the space to share.

Month Two

What Am I Carrying?

Responsibility. Expectation. Roles. Mental load. The needs of other people, and the expectations we quietly place upon ourselves.

We’ll begin separating what is truly ours to carry from what we have simply become very good at carrying.

Month Three

The Body Knows

Our bodies often recognize strain, misalignment, disconnection, and overload long before our minds acknowledge them.

We’ll explore the physiology of responsibility and learn to recognize the information your body is already giving you. Somatic awareness becomes more than a way to manage stress. It becomes a resource for how you live and lead.

Month Four

Capacity

The goal isn’t to become capable of carrying an infinite amount.

We’ll explore what actually builds and protects capacity: resilience, recovery, energy, boundaries, and the ability to remain present without constantly overriding yourself.

Special Guest Speaker

Month Five

Relationships

How we communicate, navigate conflict, ask for what we need, receive support, establish boundaries, and allow ourselves to be known shapes both our leadership and our lives.

We’ll explore what becomes possible when relationship is not simply another place where you are responsible, but a source of connection and strength.

Special Guest Speaker

Month Six

Discernment

Sometimes the hardest question isn’t What should I do? It’s What is mine to do?

How do we distinguish calling from expectation? Conviction from obligation? Faithfulness from proving? We’ll explore discernment at the intersection of faith, wisdom, intuition, responsibility, and choice.

Special Guest Speaker

Month Seven

Influence & Impact

You have influence whether or not leadership appears in your title.

We’ll explore how you use your voice, gifts, authority, resources, experience, and presence, and what it means to create meaningful impact without losing yourself in the process.

Special Guest Speaker

Month Eight

Faithful Stewardship

What does it mean to faithfully steward what has been entrusted to you?

Your abilities. Your opportunities. Your resources. Your relationships. Your health. Your influence. Your time. And your capacity.

We’ll explore stewardship not as an obligation to maximize everything you’ve been given, but as the wisdom to invest yourself intentionally in what matters.

Special Guest Speaker

Month Nine

Integration

We return to where we began. What has changed? What do you understand differently about yourself? What are you carrying differently? Where do you have greater clarity and capacity? And what are you being invited into next?

Our final gathering is about carrying what you’ve discovered forward, into your faith, relationships, work, leadership, and life.

This May Be Your Table If…

You’re ready for a different relationship with responsibility.

You carry significant responsibility, whether or not your title says “leader.”
Your faith matters deeply to you and influences how you want to live.
You are accomplished and capable, but you aren’t interested in spending the next decade simply becoming better at carrying more.
You want conversations with women who can meet you at the depth at which you are actually living.
You are curious about the expectations you carry, both those placed upon you and those you place upon yourself.
You want to understand yourself more deeply, including the ways responsibility and expectation show up in your body.
You want to become more discerning about where you invest your time, energy, gifts, and influence.
And you want to lead your life from deep alignment rather than constant striving.
Why a Table?

Because something wonderful happens when women sit around a table together.

There are conversations that don’t happen in passing, or in a Zoom square.

There are things we notice when we slow down enough to actually be present with one another.

There is wisdom that emerges when accomplished women stop performing competence for a few hours and allow themselves to become curious.

There is tremendous freedom in discovering:
I’m not the only woman carrying this.

This experience is intentionally small because the quality of the room matters.

An Invitation

Around the Table is that kind of place.

I believe there is a difference between being able to carry a lot and being called to carry it all.

I believe our bodies often tell the truth before our calendars do.

I believe faithfulness requires discernment, not simply endurance.

And I believe women carrying significant responsibility need places where they don’t have to prove their competence before they can tell the truth.

A table where faith and leadership belong in the same conversation.

Where ambition doesn’t have to be apologized for.

Where desire is honored as a God-given gift.

Where capacity matters as much as accomplishment.

Where the body gets a voice.

Where questions are welcome.

And where extraordinary women can help one another discern how to faithfully steward the lives they’ve been given.
