These Terms & Conditions govern registration and participation in the Come Away Retreat offered by Gin Burchfield Coaching (“Gin”).
By registering for Come Away, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms.
1. The Come Away Retreat
Come Away is an intimate four-day, three-night retreat in the mountains of North Carolina limited to three participants.
The retreat is designed to create space for rest, reflection, meaningful conversation, connection, personal exploration, and individual work with Gin.
Your retreat experience includes:
-
Four days and three nights of accommodations
-
Meals prepared by a personal chef
-
Retreat experiences and activities facilitated by Gin
-
One private two-hour deep-dive session with Gin
-
An intentionally small retreat experience limited to three participants
Specific activities and the daily schedule may evolve based on the needs of the women participating and other circumstances surrounding the retreat.
2. Retreat Dates & Location
Come Away is planned for Spring 2027 in the mountains of North Carolina.
Because the retreat is limited to three participants, the specific dates will be determined based on group availability and consensus.
Gin will communicate the confirmed dates, location, arrival and departure information, and other logistical details once they are finalized.
3. Christian Purpose & Philosophy
Gin’s work is informed by her Christian faith, and elements of faith may naturally be incorporated into the Come Away experience.
This may include prayer, Scripture, reflection, discernment, calling, stewardship, or conversations about faith and its relationship to life, leadership, relationships, and personal growth.
Participants are encouraged to engage honestly and respectfully. Differences in experience, interpretation, perspective, and belief may arise, and respectful conversation is expected.
4. Coaching & Educational Nature of the Retreat
Come Away is intended for personal development, reflection, coaching, education, and connection.
Coaching and retreat activities are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for services provided by appropriately licensed healthcare or mental health professionals.
Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, choices, actions, health, and well-being throughout the retreat.
5. Somatic & Experiential Practices
Come Away may include somatic practices, movement, body awareness, breathing exercises, reflection, or other experiential activities.
Participation in these activities is voluntary.
Each participant is responsible for determining what is appropriate for her own physical and emotional well-being and is encouraged to communicate any relevant limitations or concerns to Gin.
6. Participant Responsibilities
By participating in Come Away, you agree to:
-
Participate in a manner that supports a respectful and welcoming environment.

-
Take responsibility for your own choices, participation, physical needs, and emotional well-being.
-
Communicate relevant dietary restrictions, allergies, physical limitations, or other needs before the retreat.
-
Refrain from behavior that materially disrupts the retreat or compromises the safety, privacy, or well-being of another participant.
Gin reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the retreat if her behavior materially disrupts the experience or threatens the safety, privacy, or well-being of another participant.
7. Payment
The total payment for Come Away is $2,497.
Your place is not reserved until payment has been successfully completed.
Because Come Away is limited to only three participants, registration represents a commitment to one of a very limited number of available places.
8. Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds
Because Come Away is limited to three participants and requires advance financial commitments for accommodations, food, and other retreat expenses, cancellations have a significant impact on the retreat.
[INSERT FINAL CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY.]
The final policy should address:
-
Whether any portion of the $2,497 payment is refundable
-
Any deadline for receiving a full or partial refund
-
Whether a participant may transfer her place to another eligible participant
-
What happens if a participant is unable to attend after the retreat expenses have been committed
9. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Gin
If circumstances outside Gin’s reasonable control require the retreat to be rescheduled, Gin will communicate with participants as soon as reasonably possible and provide information regarding the revised arrangements.

Transportation costs, airfare, rental cars, mileage, travel insurance, and other personal travel expenses are not included in the retreat payment.
Additional arrival, departure, parking, and transportation information will be provided once the retreat location is finalized.
11. Accommodations
Three nights of accommodations are included in the retreat.

12. Meals & Dietary Needs
Meals during Come Away will be prepared by a personal chef.
Participants will have an opportunity to disclose food allergies, dietary restrictions, and other dietary needs before the retreat.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate disclosed dietary needs. However, Gin cannot guarantee that every dietary preference or restriction can be accommodated.
Participants with serious or life-threatening food allergies are responsible for communicating those needs clearly before attending so that appropriate arrangements and limitations can be discussed.
13. Individual Deep-Dive Session
Each participant will receive one private two-hour deep-dive session with Gin during the retreat.
The focus of this session will be determined by the participant’s needs, interests, and circumstances at the time of the retreat.
As with all coaching services, participation does not guarantee any particular personal, professional, financial, relational, health, or other result.
14. Confidentiality & Privacy
The intimate nature of Come Away depends upon trust and respect among everyone participating.
Participants agree to protect the confidentiality of personal information, stories, experiences, and conversations shared by other participants during the retreat.
Information shared by another participant should not be repeated or disclosed outside of the retreat without that participant’s permission.
While Gin will establish and reinforce these expectations, Gin cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality. Each participant should use her own judgment regarding what she chooses to disclose.

These individuals are independent providers and are responsible for the services they personally provide.
Gin may make reasonable substitutions or changes to third-party providers when necessary.
16. Changes to the Retreat
Come Away is intentionally designed to be responsive to the women participating.
Gin reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, activities, meals, practitioners, location, or other elements when circumstances require, while maintaining the overall purpose and nature of the retreat.

Materials, exercises, written content, frameworks, recordings, or other resources provided by Gin during Come Away remain the intellectual property of Gin Burchfield Coaching unless otherwise stated.
These materials are provided for the participant’s personal use and may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, taught, published, or otherwise used commercially without prior written permission.
18. No Guaranteed Results
Personal development and coaching are highly individual experiences.
Gin does not guarantee any particular personal, professional, financial, relational, spiritual, health, or other outcome as a result of participating in Come Away.
Each participant remains responsible for how she chooses to apply what she experiences or learns.
19. Assumption of Responsibility & Limitation of Liability
Participation in Come Away is voluntary.
Each participant accepts responsibility for her own decisions, actions, health, belongings, travel, and participation during the retreat.
To the extent permitted by law, Gin Burchfield Coaching will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the retreat or for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
